The Acoustic Engineering division of Kimpton Limited is proud to
announce pre-qualification and registration to the Utilities Vender
Database (UVDB) in the category of Enclosures &
Kiosks.
Bob Jones, the National Sales Manager for Kimpton's Acoustic
Engineering division advised that the registration forms part of
their business development strategy for the continued growth within
the Noise Enclosure market place.
"Registering with UVDB was a natural progression for us to build
upon our success of supplying Noise Enclosures to the power
generation sector of the utilities industry." said Bob. "With the
ever increasing demand for "Green Energy" we are seeing an
increasing demand for our Noise Enclosures to house CHP's and also
Grid Transformers to couple Wind Farms to the National Grid."
Achilles UVDB pre-qualification and registration system is used
by over 175 utilities companies. This independent and neutral
provider links together both buyers and suppliers via a now
recognized standard of pre-qualification. Along with the increased
exposure to a wider potential customer base, UVDB will give Kimpton
the opportunity to develop their knowledge of the industry's
standards and requirements further enhancing their quality and
service levels.
